Double Sharp Productions produces sophisticated nostalgic cabaret theatre for the modern audience. The company is run by co-producers and performers Andrew D. Brewis and Airlie Scott who combined have over 30 years experience in theatre. “Wonderful Day” an upbeat musical cabaret celebrating the life and music of Doris Day is Double Sharp’s opening production has been running now for over three years now up and down the UK, to great reviews and good houses.
With his company Noted for Music, Andrew has produced numerous successful shows and cabarets included “Red Hot Coles”, “Noel and I”, “Simply Sondheim”, “You’re the Top”, “By George it’s Irving” and “Adorable Doris” playing to theatres round the country. With her company CabarAct Productions Airlie has produced “My Julie!”, “I Do and I Don’t” playing numerous London venues including Jermyn Street theatre and her sell-out two woman cabaret “Venus, Mars and Chocolate Cake” sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe.
